The owner was an animal science teacher at BOCES and has been a licensed veterinary technician for +12 years, specializing in emergency & critical care.​ She has worked with various species of animals throughout her entire life, but of course her original love for animals started with man's (or woman's) best friend; dogs. She lives on-site with her Australian Shepherd. Her mother recently retired and is now giving an extra hand to help love your fur babies, living on-site as well. She is also a life-long animal lover, and she will probably brag about her 8 cats. We have a full staff of retired vet techs, students in vet school, groomers, and trainers that help us provide quality care.

Luca was born February 2019 and he is a neutered male Australian Shepherd. Luca is one of our most valuable staff members. He is not only extremely lovable and friendly, but he loves to play. He makes a great behavior analysis dog when assessing new clients because he tends to have a very neutral demeanor with almost all dogs he meets. The great news is, Luca lives on-site and makes a great addition to any sized play group.
